Who We Are

The Community Alliance for Riverside's Economy & Environment (CAREE) is a group of concerned citizens and community advocates living across Riverside, Perris, Moreno Valley, and greater Riverside County. We came together around a shared belief: a vibrant local economy and a healthy environment are not mutually exclusive.

As our region rapidly grows, CAREE serves as a civic bridge, ensuring that economic expansion does not come at the expense of community health, clean air, or quality of life, and that environmental goals respect the financial well-being of local families and businesses.

Our Mission

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, CAREE works to:

• Educate: Provide clean, objective, and accessible information on regional policies, warehouse development, transportation projects, and environmental health.

• Empower: Give local residents in Riverside, Perris, and Moreno Valley the tools and insights needed to participate meaningfully in civic decisions.

• Balance: Advocate for smart growth that protects clean air, water, and open spaces while supporting quality jobs and local economic resilience.
